When I try to install, it gives me:
" You must make the following changes before installing Windows Close Windows installation and contact the device manufacturer for updated driver software for these devices: Your computer is not compatible with Windows Vista, so Windows Vista cannot be installed. "
Now this is a nice error, telling me exactly whats wrong </sarcasm>
Running the advisor tool tells me that I don't have a big enough HDD, which is true in terms of my C:\ drive only having a few GB free. However, I want to install Vista to my S:\ drive (20GB), but I can't get into the installer, to do anything.
Help appriciated and needed asap.
Thanks.

Installation Failing ~ PC not compatidle with Vista?
Before the installer can see your S: drive you may need to supply a hard disk controller driver on the screen where you see the Load Drivers button. Since you did not give any information about your machine at all, I cannot tell.
If S: is an external usb or firewire drive you cannot use it.

I can get to S:\ via My Compoter in Windows, and its a slave drive with a 20GB partition.
Im using a virtual drive as well, since I don't have a DVD burner, so it doesn't ask anything from me before giving that "helpful" error.
